Stifled Grief, a cultural thing?

This is an article I found interesting about grief, and how we perceive grief. I know since I lost my Mum, I was the type to be very stoic and organised through the funeral process, but even these years later the loss of your Mum hits you at odd times when you least expect it. So I think the main point the writer achieves is to be conscious of someone’s loss, and have no expectations on how they are handling it.
